
A Boston man's life was cut tragically short when he was gunned down while parked outside a friend's apartment complex in Randolph, Massachusetts, officials reported.
Victim Deandre Jones, 32, was seated in his bullet-riddled truck when Randolph police responded to midnight calls of gunshots at Highland Glen Drive near the Castle Village Condominiums, the truck where Jones’ lifeless body was lastly discovered was towed afterward for forensic examination. NBC Boston detailed the initial findings from that fatal night.
Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey expressed in a statement the urgency of the ongoing investigation, stating, "Detectives were working through the night, collecting evidence and processing the scene." Despite rigorous police efforts, no suspect has been taken into custody, and the inquiry continues unabated.
After suffering grievous gunshot wounds Jones was rushed to Good Samaritan Medical Center, however, his wounds were too severe, and he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is expected to shed light on the precise cause of death following an autopsy slated for Thursday, as reported by WCVB.
