Gun-toting young man nabbed by cops on Boston streets. Anton Nathaniel Clark, a 21-year-old from Mattapan, got snagged by the boys in blue from District B-2 while they cruised the Grove Hall area, answering the public's call yesterday. The bust went down in the late afternoon, around 5 PM, according to an official release on the Boston Police Department's website.
The suspect found himself in handcuffs following a routine look-see by the officers that led to a chat with Clark, where it turned out he had an active warrant out for his arrest. As they pulled him from the car, a loaded piece - a Jimenez Arms Inc Model J.A. 22 with a round in the hole and five more in the mag - was found snug in the suspect’s front left jacket pocket.
That little find landed Clark a one-way ticket to the slammer, facing charges of carrying an illegal firearm, both loaded and with extra ammo to boot. The court date's set out in Dorchester where the gavel will drop and the legal eagles will duke it out to see if the 21-year-old will answer for the heat he was packing.
