Roxbury is on alert as the Boston Police Department (BPD) turns to the public for help in pinning down a suspect tied to recent acts of vandalism. According to the BPD, these destructive antics took place in the Roxbury neighborhood, firstly on Judge Street and subsequently on Sunset Street.
Caught in the act around 11:11 p.m. on March 23, the suspect—sporting braids, a puffy coat with distinctive designs, and white sneakers—was picked up by surveillance cameras. In a similar incident, captured near 1:53 a.m. on March 24, the same individual, wearing a hoodie beneath the coat and lugging a cross body bag, matched the description provided by the Boston Police Department.
The BPD are not taking these incidents lightly, mapping out various vandalism and motor vehicle break-ins. They span from the late evening of March 23 into the early hours of March 24, centered largely in Mission Hill, where the suspect is believed to roll alone.
Authorities are combing through the details to bring this vandalism spree to an end. "The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents," BPD officials state, urging anyone with information to contact District B-2 detectives at (617) 343-4275.
