Burnsville's bravest and finest are getting a solid bronze salute thanks to the Burnsville Community Foundation. A new sculpture, titled "Homage", has been temporarily set up outside City Hall to pay tribute to the city's public safety teams. Local artist Mary Pat Lutz is the sculptor behind the life-size bronze figures representing a firefighter, paramedic, and police officer.
These figures are designed to quickly capture and reflect the essence of service and protection provided by Burnsville's public safety professionals. In a statement obtained by the official City of Burnsville website, the sculptures were emphasized to embody "the spirit of reaching out and protecting those who need help – the work our public safety teams do every day."
