According to FOX San Antonio, this non-profit offers comprehensive care from inpatient services to community outreach, ensuring that no child in need is turned away due to financial hurdles.

In a testament to their relentless service, Carabin Shaw's Pay It 4Ward initiative handed over a $1,000 check to Clarity Child Guidance Center. "We were very busy pre-covid, but the pandemic definitely was hard on kids and we’re seeing lasting impacts from that," said Jessica Knudsen, President & CEO at Clarity Child Guidance Center, in a statement obtained by FOX San Antonio. The funds are earmarked to directly to support children treated in their crisis services area. While the donation may seem modest, it symbolizes a community's commitment to quickly to back institutions that anchor the mental well-being of its young ones.

Heroes and More, another San Antonio non-profit, similarly caught the spotlight for its work with children enduring severe health challenges. They dress up as superheroes and princesses to provide these kids with fleeting, yet precious moments of joy. Dawn Revell, Owner and Founder of Heroes and More, told News 4 San Antonio, "I hate that children have to have this, but if we can be there even for five minutes and help them forget what they’re fighting, it’s everything to me."

Heroes and More also received a generous $1,000 check from Carabin Shaw's Pay It 4Ward program. Overwhelmed by the surprise, Revell exclaimed, "Are serious?!", highlighting the unexpected nature of the donation. The funds come at a critical time as the non-profit admits its resources are stretched thin.
