
A harrowing scene unfolded on Stirling Road in Cooper City, Florida, when a high school student was struck by a car while riding a scooter. The accident, which occurred near Cooper City High School, resulted in significant bloodshed and left the teenager in very critical condition. According to WSVN, the injured student is an eleventh grader at the nearby high school. Broward County Fire Rescue teams and Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the distressing event.
Authorities were alerted to the incident shortly after 8 a.m. Both east and westbound lanes of Stirling Road were forced to temporarily close as investigators and emergency crews swiftly descended upon the scene. The visibly damaged red vehicle involved in the accident had a dented hood, and a broken front window. In quick succession, the victim was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital to receive urgently needed care.
