
A 67-year-old man was found dead in a Mississippi apartment complex in what authorities are investigating as a homicide. Officers of the Corinth Police Department discovered the body on Monday morning at the address of 3600 Tinin Drive, an apartment building that has now become the center of a grim inquiry.
According to Darkhorse Press, Police quickly ascertained the death to be suspicious, labeling it as a homicide, though no further details about the cause of death have been publicly disclosed. Upon their prompt arrival at the scene, police took one person of interest into custody, however, no charges have been filed, pending further investigation.
WREG reports that the investigation began shortly after the deceased, an unidentified white male, was found in the apartment.
