A collaborative effort with the Levitt Shell and the Memphis Library Foundation, the 5 Fridays of Free Jazz concert season is underway. This Friday, guests will enjoy a special performance by The Maguire Twins. Food and beverages will be available to purchase at the event. The series seeks to build community by connecting both new and established audiences with jazz music.

Tree Tour of Elmwood Cemetery

Check out this special 90-minute tree tour at Elmwood, which is home to almost 1,400 trees. Many of these trees are tagged, but there's so much more to know about a tree than its scientific and common name. Some Elmwood trees have survived for more than 300 years.

Day of Mindfulness in Memphis

Learn how to better take care of oneself through mindfulness practice. Together we will learn and apply concrete practices such as following our breath, walking meditation, mindful eating and deep relaxation that increase happiness, stability and freedom in ourselves and others. Guests should bring their own vegan or vegetarian lunch, water, cushion and yoga mat.
