
The Dallas Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in a cold case that has lingered unresolved for eight years, the murder of 34-year-old Mondell Peterson, who was fatally shot in 2016.
According to a statement from the Dallas Police Department, the incident occurred on March 1, 2016, in the 4100 block of Wilshire Boulevard, Peterson was found deceased from gunshot wounds and despite the time that has passed investigators remain committed to bringing closure to Peterson’s family, following leads in hopes of tracking down the suspects.
The suspects in question have been described as black males in their twenties to thirties, approximately 5’7” tall, with slender builds. Authorities have also specified the suspect vehicle, a champagne-colored Toyota Camry, model years 1999 to 2001, potentially being a crucial piece of evidence leading to the identification and apprehension of the individuals responsible for Peterson’s untimely demise.
