Heist shocker in broad daylight: an armored truck became the target of a brazen robbery earlier today in San Antonio, as two thieves made off with bags of cash after bringing the crew to their knees. San Antonio Police Department is on the hunt for the duo behind the daylight robbery reported at around 10 a.m. on the 1500 block of Austin Highway, near a Wells Fargo bank, as confirmed by KENS 5.
Under the threat of firepower, two hooded figures reportedly emerged from an unidentified vehicle and commanded the armored truck's guardians to the pavement. "Always be careful. Always know where all four corners of your vehicle are for people coming up to you. This is a lesson learned for everyone," San Antonio Police Department Officer Nicholas Soliz emphasized in a statement obtained by KENS 5.
The amount taken by the suspects remains unknown, and no injuries were reported during the heist. Details about a suspects' vehicle or their physical descriptions have not been released, as the entire incident unfolded with alarming speed. "They got them by surprise," Officer Soliz told KSAT.
