Dolly Parton is expanding her empire into the kitchen with a unique line of cookware that's sure to have fans singing while they sizzle. The Queen of Country has collaborated with Tennessee staple Lodge Cast Iron, launching a line of kitchenware that showcases a blend of Southern charm and musical whimsy.
An announcement from Parton came Thursday, revealing a collection including a guitar-shaped mini skillet and full-size skillets inspired by her classic tunes. Born and raised in East Tennessee, Parton's collaboration with the 128-year-old family-owned brand seems as fitting as butter on cornbread. According to Food Network, the Dolly Parton Cookware Line, made in the USA, boasts designs that merge Dolly's flair with practicality, expected to last for generations.
Lodge Cast Iron, hailing from South Pittsburg, Tennessee, carries the distinction of being one of the oldest family-owned cast iron companies in the nation. The new skillet line will be available on Lodge's website and is on its way to retailers like Cracker Barrel and Walmart's website, as reported by WVLT.
Additionally, the "Jolene" singer is slated to unveil a broader collection of home goods, including table linens and kitchen textiles through a partnership with Lifetime Brands. Expected to hit shelves in March 2025, the items are designed to stir up the heartfelt nostalgia of family gatherings. "Home is as much a state of mind as it is a place for me," Parton said. "I am excited to share these new kitchenware collections inspired by my childhood memories," she told Broadway World.
This venture into homeware aligns with Parton's recent culinary interests, including the release of her cookbook "Good Lookin' Cookin'" later this year, co-authored with sister Rachel Parton George. With a legacy that spans from her modest beginnings to global fame, each piece in the collection is an homage to Parton's journey, promising a piece of Dolly's heart in every home.
