Visitors get to enjoy the children's book "Grandpa Alan's Sugar Shack" by Alan Page as they meander along the Sumac Trail, where the story is displayed on posts #3-11, turning a casual hike into an interactive reading session, according to the City of Maple Grove, MN - Local Government.

As if the story wasn’t a sweet enough deal, the Center's also offering a maple syrup season scavenger hunt for families looking to add adventure to their visit. This addition was confirmed by the City of Maple Grove, MN - Local Government from the Three Rivers Park District.
