
A tragic incident occurred in Chelmsford, Massachusetts when a 74-year-old woman was struck by an SUV yesterday evening. The accident, which took place at the intersection of Main and School streets around 6:15 p.m., left the elderly victim with serious injuries including significant head trauma.
Officials report the woman was taken to Lowell General Hospital for treatment, as confirmed by NBC Boston. Initially, a medical helicopter was called to the scene but was subsequently canceled due to adverse weather conditions, weather conditions, a detail noted by WHDH.
