Ennis Police Launch Manhunt for Suspect Bryant Carnell Whitehead After Fatal Shooting in Residential AreaSource: Google Street View

A fatal shooting has rocked Ennis, Texas after an early morning squabble turned deadly on Saturday. The victim, a 55-year-old man from Rice, Texas, succumbed to gunshot wounds following the reported altercation with the suspect, now identified as Bryant Carnell Whitehead, a 49-year-old black male from Cedar Hill, Texas.

According to the Ennis Police Department, the argument outside a residence at 1212 Grace Circle escalated when Whitehead purportedly pulled a handgun to and shot the victim. Eyewitnesses have reported that Whitehead fled the scene in a black 2013 Chrysler 200, with Texas license plate TX LFJ7569, shortly before the authorities arrived.

Responding to a 2:04 AM call, Ennis police discovered the victim unresponsive. Enforced by Ennis Fire and Medical personnel, they determined that the victim had passed, with Justice of the Peace Jackie Miller officially pronouncing him deceased at the scene. The Ennis Police Department, now deep into the investigation, has warned that Whitehead should be regarded as armed and dangerous.

The search for Whitehead continues, with the police urging anyone with information or door cam videos to urgently come forward. "If you see Whitehead or have any knowledge of his whereabouts you are urged to contact Detective Sgt. Jeffrey Bates of the Ennis Police Department" stated the Ennis Police Department.
