Euless residents, looking to access city services or enjoy recreational facilities this holiday weekend, will need to plan around closures and adjusted hours. Locals will find the doors of City Hall Offices, the Mary Lib Saleh Euless Public Library, and the Euless Family Life Center (EFLC) locked tight on Friday, March 29, as city workers observe a day away from their desks, according to the City of Euless.
The public library will swing its doors back open for the bibliophiles and knowledge seekers on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., so stack up on your reading materials then. Folks aiming to work up a sweat at the EFLC can do so on Saturday, as the facility will be accommodating fitness enthusiasts from 8 a.m., up to the nose of 5 p.m. However, come Sunday, March 31, one will find both the library and the EFLC shuttered, giving pause to the usual hum of community activity.
Now, if chasing little white balls across manicured lawns is your idea of a festive weekend, you're in luck. The Texas Star Golf Course and the adjacent Raven's Grille aren't skipping a beat on Friday and Saturday, March 29-30. Nevertheless, golfers will need to tee off early on Sunday as the Golf Shop plans to call it quits at 3 p.m. Raven's Grille tempts with an Easter brunch special on Sunday but will be taking a hiatus from its regular lunch and dinner service.
All city parks and services are set to resume normalcy come Monday, April 1, without a hint of April Fool's mischief. It’s back to business as usual for city staff and residents alike, with the reawakening of public spaces to embrace the vibrant pulse of Euless daily life.
