San Antonio is gearing up to become a playground for the oversized and the overpowered as the Hot Wheels' "Monster Trucks Live Glow Party" sets its GPS for the Frost Bank Center this summer. With two shows slated for Saturday, July 20, and another on Sunday, July 21, fans can brace themselves to experience a fleet of larger-than-life trucks like Mega Wrex and Bone Shaker — and kids of all ages can quickly sign up for the Frost Bank Center’s All Access Newsletter for presale access.
Tickets for this high-octane event will put rubber to the road in sales starting Friday, 10 a.m., available at the Frost Bank Center's website. According to KSAT, this isn’t your average monster truck rally — the "Glow Party" promises to light up the night with glow-in-the-dark antics, lasers, and a chance for fans to groove along to not only engines but tunes.
For those uninitiated in the high-flying world of Hot Wheels Monster Trucks is a a crossover extravaganza from toy boxes to reality. The partnership behind the event comes from Mattel and Raycom-Legacy Content Company, LLC, which suggests a commitment to keep pushing the family entertainment envelope. Family Entertainment Holdings LLC, the powerhouse behind the event, boasts a bevy of live events tailored to create memories for kids and families alike, says Kids Out and About San Antonio.
The event features fan favorites like Tiger Shark and Demo Derby and introduces the new Firetruck HW 5-Alarm. The show is set to ensure attendees will get more than just a glimpse of these titanic trucks. It's a chance for parents to quickly don shades against the glow, and for kids to perhaps find a new nightlight in the form of a mini Bigfoot or Gunkster parked on their bedside table.
