A man suspected of theft was apprehended earlier this week after an alarm sounded in a local business, according to the Harris County Constable's Office. Deputies were dispatched to the 3100 block of FM 1960 Road on March 24, when the alarm alerted them to potential criminal activity at the establishment.
Upon their arrival, they were informed by the reporter on site that a male, later identified as Anthony Green, attempted to conceal items before making a hasty exit, authorities raced to investigate and were quick to canvas the area swiftly locating Green who was discovered to have an outstanding warrant for theft issued out of Victoria County. According to a Facebook post by Constable Mark Herman's Office, "Anthony Green was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrant."
Constable Mark Herman confirmed the arrest and subsequent jailing of Green in a statement, though details regarding his bond and forthcoming court proceedings are yet to be released as information has not been set at this time, as per official disclosures.
