
Law enforcement in Harris County put the brakes on a man's illegal antics, arresting him for weapon charges during a routine traffic stop. Travis Maddox was pulled over by a deputy from Constable Mark Herman's Office in the 2500 block of FM 1960 Rd East on March 1, a statement from Constable Mark Herman's Facebook page.
The check, which started as a mere traffic stop, took a swift turn after the deputy discovered Maddox was not just behind the wheel but was allegedly ferrying promethazine, AR-15, two loaded firearms, and what's more, he was wanted on an open Misdemeanor Warrant by the Humble Police Department, he also had two prior convictions for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, according to Constable Mark Herman's detailed report.
"Travis Maddox was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon," Constable Mark Herman's statement revealed. In an immediate turn to the justice system, his bond was reportedly set at a mere $100.00 out of County Court 4.
