A ruckus on Stone Mill Lane led Harris County deputies straight to a wanted felon, officials said. In the stretch of the 25500 block, a report of a disturbance on March 11th boiled over when deputies responded to the scene, collaring Darren Shelton, a man already marred by a criminal past.
Shelton, whose rap sheet is stained with conviction, became the unwitting star of an impromptu bust when an open warrant peeked out from behind the curtains of his history. The warrant, a leftover from previous dealings with the law, cited possession of dangerous drugs.
"Darren Shelton was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrant. His bond and court information have not been set at this time," in a statement divulged by Constable Mark Herman.
As of now, Shelton is currently held in custody at the Harris County Jail.
