
Law enforcement officials in Harris County have reported the successful capture of a wanted felon after executing a warrant service earlier this week. Kalon Morris, who had outstanding warrants for felony fraud and a misdemeanor, was apprehended with precision by deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office, according to a statement released on the precinct's Facebook page.
The arrest occurred on March 8th, when deputies received a tip-off leading them to the 19000 block of E Hardy Road. Upon verification of this information, a sting operation was set into motion which, culminated in Morris's arrest. The felony warrant was issued out of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and accompanied by a misdemeanor warrant from Harris County.
"Kalon Morris was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants. His bond and court information have not been set at this time.” Constable Mark Herman stated. The brief announcement on the precinct's social media page did not disclose further details regarding the circumstances that led to the successful operation.
