Houston-area law enforcement is actively seeking assistance from the community to identify two female suspects caught on camera pilfering a hefty load of cosmetics from a local Walgreen's store. The theft, which saw over $1,900 in merchandise being swiped, took place in the 4400 block of Mason Road, as reported by deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office on February 18, according to a social media update from Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
The Constable's alert details how the duo managed to secretly stash a variety of cosmetics and bypass all checkouts, effectively making off with goods valued at just under $2000. The incident prompted immediate response from constable deputies upon notice by the store manager. Descriptions put forth paint the suspects as possibly Hispanic or white females, both donning blue jeans and a black shirt, fleeing the crime scene in an unidentified vehicle. "If you have any information regarding this case or the identity of these suspects, you are urged to contact our dispatch at 281-376-3472," urged Constable Mark Herman in a bid to encourage local tip-offs.
Law enforcement is determined to not only catch, but also to deter future attempts through collective vigilance. Constable Herman's office proceeds to closely work with the retailer to investigate the incident and apprehend the suspects who decided to take more than their share of beauty without once offering recompense. The public's assistance could prove crucial and are encouraged to come forward with any relevant information they might possess.
