
A tragic scene unfolded in the 8700 block of Fairbanks North Houston Road where a woman lost her life in an auto-pedestrian crash, Harris County Sheriff's Office confirmed.
The incident occurred when, according to initial reports, a female had jumped out of a vehicle and was then struck by another. Emergency responders were quick to the scene, performing CPR in a desperate attempt to save the woman's life but she was later pronounced dead at the hospital, the details of which were relayed through the official X account of Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

Following the crash, the northbound lanes of the road were shut down as investigations commenced, causing significant traffic delays; deputies from the Harris County Sheriff's Office Vehicular Crimes Division were dispatched to piece together the circumstances of this heartbreaking event.
As of now there have been no details released about the identity of the deceased or the driver involved in the incident, law enforcement is working to notify next of kin the Harris County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate, urging witnesses or those with information to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
