Tragedy struck over the weekend when a young man's life was cut short at a house party in Humble. The Harris County Sheriff's Office reported an overnight shooting in the 4900 block of Fieldwick Lane, where a large group of teens and young adults had gathered. An Airbnb rental became the site of the fatal incident involving a high school senior, now identified as Jarvon C. Coles, according to a post by Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
The gathering, which had been promoted through social media, took an unforeseen turn when it was initially thought that an 18-year-old had merely passed out outside the residence. Upon arrival, EMS personnel discovered the male teen had been shot. He was subsequently transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased, as stated in the official post from the Sheriff.
