The conflagration reportedly started due to a cooking fire that quickly spread to the attic, causing extensive damage to adjoining units. As the investigation unfolds, the Glendale Fire Department remains at the forefront, sifting through the remnants and seeking answers. "As of right now our fire investigator believes it was a cooking fire that extended into the attic and ran through the other units," the department stated, as reported by FOX 10 Phoenix.

Both victims' conditions are closely monitored as details regarding their recovery are anticipated. On the scene, a man received treatment but did not require hospitalization. Investigators continue to piece together how a routine act of cooking sparked such a destructive event.
