Keller's Planning & Zoning Commission has teed up two public hearings for April 9, gearing up to give the green light (or the boot) to local developments. On deck is an expansion of a residential carport and the introduction of a Thai Yoga Massage spot, according to the City of Keller.
The carport extension is on the docket after Marcelo Barron put in a request for a Specific Use Permit on 507 Santa Barbara Drive. Sitting snug in the Parkwood Subdivision, the project would sprawl out over 0.41 acres. The spot, owned by Charles Binz, is poised to stretch roughly 400 feet to the northeast from the corner of Santa Barbara Drive and Bourland Road, as per the official release from the city.
Keller's Planning & Zoning Commission also will scrutinize an application from Thai Yoga Massage, LLC, which is looking to bring some tranquility to 415 Keller Parkway. If approved, the wellness center would nestle on 0.12 acres and occupy an existing 1,600-square-foot structure offering up holistic services amidst the hustle of daily commerce in the Bryant Parc Two Addition, zoned for retail.
