Upon their arrival, law enforcement officials discovered the teenager with a gunshot wound to her upper body. The victim was promptly tended to at the scene and then rushed to a hospital by the Long Beach Fire Department where she initially battled for her life in critical condition. Sadly, on March 30, the young girl succumbed to her injuries, her identity closely guarded on account of her youth.
