The winning ticket was a Quick Pick purchased at Mr. Express #1, situated at 2815 Bingle Road. In alignment with their rights, the winner chose to stay out of the public eye, to remain anonymous, KHOU reported.
The winning numbers for the draw were 21, 29, 54, 59, and 62 with Powerball number 4 just slipping from their grasp. Yet even without nailing the Powerball, the prize is enough to make anyone jump for joy. The next chance to win big is on the horizon with the Powerball drawing set for Monday, March 18, which is expected to potentially make another lucky bettor's dream come true, boasting an eye-opening jackpot of $645 million.
Meanwhile, another Houstonian also struck it rich, winning $1 million in a separate Powerball draw held on March 18. As revealed by FOX 26 Houston, the ticket was sold at Swipe for Fuel, located at 7202 Tidwell Road. Although this ticket also didn't match the Powerball number, the winner snagged a victory by matching all five white ball numbers.
