Chaos erupted on an Atlanta street late Monday night when gunfire broke out during a quarrel, sending one man to the hospital with critical injuries. The Atlanta Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway and Joseph E Lowery Boulevard around 11:26 pm on March 26, according to their official news release.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Grady Emergency Medical Services swiftly transported the injured man, presently in a critical but stable condition, to receive urgent medical attention. The initial investigation suggests that the shooting was a result of a heated dispute over a woman between the victim and another male suspect.

The altercation turned violent and ended with the suspect opening fire. Subsequent to the shooting, both the male suspect and the female involved in the dispute fled the location, managing to evade police by the time they arrived. Authorities have not yet released details regarding the identities of those involved or descriptions of the suspects.

In their report on the incident, the Atlanta Police Department stated, "Preliminary investigation indicates the male was shot during a dispute with a male suspect over a female." Currently, the investigation is ongoing as law enforcement officials are actively pursuing leads to apprehend those responsible for the shooting. 

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Police Department is calling on anyone with information about the incident to contact the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line. The department assures that callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the perpetrators.
