A man was clapped in irons by the local constabulary after deputies responded to a fracas in the Hawkwood Drive area last week. In an altercation that left one female victim battered, Christian Galdamez now faces assault charges following the incident.
On March 17, when deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office arrived at the 22700 block of Hawkwood Drive, they quickly detained Galdamez, accused of stirring up the disturbance. Found in violation of his bond conditions, the situation only compounded the suspect's troubles—a detail that would not elude the diligent watch of the law enforcement involved.
The precinct's investigation peeled back the layers of the incident, revealing evidence of physical assault against a woman. "Christian Galdamez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Assault," Constable Mark Herman said in a statement shared on their official Facebook page. The statement didn't mince words about Galdamez's alleged transgression.
Now behind bars at the Harris County Jail, Galdamez is held on a bond set at $5,000.00 out of County Court 4, a sum that would secure his temporary freedom—should he able to post it.
