A jogger's life was abruptly ended in a hit-and-run in New River, Arizona last month, and after several weeks a man has been detained in connection with her death, authorities disclosed. The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office reported that 21-year-old Jacob Moore was apprehended on Monday, facing charges of manslaughter and failing to stop at the scene of an accident that occurred on February 24, as reported by ABC15.
43-year-old Lisa Mancuso was jogging near Seventh Avenue and Cloud Road when she was tragically struck by a pickup truck, according to officials the truck involved was owned by a local law enforcement officer Moore happens to be related to the officer who was not involved in the incident, however, the vehicle connection ultimately led detectives to the suspect.
