While the incident stirred some intrigue among the locals, the Plymouth district attorney’s office moved quickly to alleviate any fears of a criminal threat, stating that foul play is not suspected in the man's death. The identity of the man is currently withheld, pending notification of next of kin, and police have reassured the community that "at this time there is no concern to the public," as The Boston Globe noted in their coverage.
