
A man was wounded in a stabbing following a heated altercation on Cheshire Bridge Rd. in Atlanta, as authorities rushed to the crime scene early Friday morning. The Atlanta Police Department reported that their officers from Zone 6 were dispatched to 1739 Cheshire Bridge Rd. NE after being notified of the incident that occurred yesterday, at around 8:32 a.m., where they found the 31-year-old male victim.
Upon arrival, the victim, suffering from multiple stab wounds, was discovered alert and breathing; he was swiftly transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries, as per the Atlanta Police Department's release. The incident seemed to stem from a physical dispute gone awry, the exact cause of which hadn't been specified, as investigators face the task of piecing together the events that led up to this violent outcome, the nature of the dispute and the reason behind it remain the subject of intense scrutiny, the motive still undetermined.
