In a tragic twist of fate on San Pasqual Valley Road, a rollover accident claimed the life of a 47-year-old man and left a 25-year-old driver hospitalized last night. According to the San Diego Police Department, a gray 1999 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling eastbound when it veered off the road, plummeting down an embankment into a citrus orchard.

The incident occurred around 11:19 PM near the 18000 block of the rural road that winds through the San Pasqual neighborhood. A spokesperson for the SDPD stated the Silverado encountered difficulty with the curve, failed to remain in its lane, and crossed the double yellow lines, resulting in a catastrophic overturn. The passenger was ejected during the incident and pronounced dead at the scene, while emergency services hurriedly airlifted the driver, who survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
