A Manchester couple are behind bars, charged with heinous child sexual assault offenses that allegedly took place over two decades ago. The Manchester Police Department reported the arrest of 53-year-old Daniel O’Dell and his girlfriend, 41-year-old Sherry Letendre, after they turned themselves in in response to allegations brought forth by a woman concerning abuse she claims to have suffered as a child.
Following a statement released by the Manchester Police, accessible via their Facebook page, it was revealed that the victim approached law enforcement late last year. She recounted several instances of assault by O'Dell when nine years old, the investigation uncovered, and that Letendre had been present at the time of these assaults.
O'Dell is facing charges of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault (Pattern) on a Child while Letendre's charges are of Criminal Liability to Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault (Pattern) on a Child. Both are serious felony offenses. The couple, who surrendered to the authorities, are currently held on a $350 cash bail each.
