Mesa Police have described the suspect as a Black male, estimated to be between 25 and 40 years old, standing around 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build, sporting a goatee-style beard, longer and thicker on the chin, and dark spiky hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a black hoodie and dark pants, according to an account by 12 News.

In light of the incident and with the suspect still at large, the Mesa Police Department is advising residents to remain vigilant. They are encouraging community members to secure their doors and windows, turn on outdoor lights, and to immediately contact 911 if they observe anything suspicious.
