A disturbance call in the 6200 block of Channelbrook Lane on March 10 led to the apprehension of Mary Emmanuel, who had an existing warrant for her arrest.
Constable Mark Herman's Office deputies, following up on the disturbance report, quickly identified the suspect involved. Having identified her, the deputies soon uncovered that Emmanuel was not just causing trouble — she was wanted on a charge of Credit Card Abuse, a felony crime that the authorities had been seeking to resolve.
"Mary Emmanuel was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the felony warrant. Her bond was set at $2,000.00 out of the 482nd District Court." Herman stated in a press release.
It remains unclear as to when Emmanuel will have her day in court to answer these allegations formally.
