Belyeu went 7 for 14, which included three homers and seven RBIs, boosting his batting average to a hearty .341 and his homers leading the team at six, as reported by KXAN.

The red-hot streak was much needed for the No. 23 Longhorns, who have been looking to solidify their early season form. Belyeu's significant role in Texas' 9-7 win to clinch the series saw him drive in three runs, featuring a home run and two doubles, surging to finish an impressive 4 for 5 at the plate. "In his last six games, he’s hitting .458 and he’s homered in three consecutive games," as per KXAN.

Meanwhile, according to Sports Illustrated, Belyeu hadn't managed a single hit in his first four games, but that's old news now. The kid seems to have found his groove, slugging his way through the past 11 games with a batting average that's nothing less than fiery. His performance against Texas Tech was pivotal, notching a homer in every game against the Red Raiders, totaling seven RBIs, and crossing the plate himself six times.

Sharing the Big 12 weekly honor with Oklahoma’s Easton Carmichael, this accolade marks the first of its kind for Belyeu, and it could not come at a better time.
