A Naperville massage parlor owner is in hot water after cops slapped him with charges of battery and unlicensed massage therapy. Austin J. Arianoutsos, 35, who operates YangRising at 25 S. Washington St., Suite 212, was nabbed last Friday following a battery complaint dating back to January, per local authorities.
The alleged incident involved Arianoutsos making unwanted sexual contact with a client on Jan. 5. According to the official press release, the Naperville Police Department’s investigation revealed that the owner’s massage therapist license was on a "Refuse to Renew" status by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation, due to prior "unprofessional conduct."
Charges against Arianoutsos include a misdemeanor for Battery and Disorderly Conduct. The local regulatory body had documented "unprofessional and immoral conduct as exhibited by sexual misconduct during providing massage for compensation services to a client," leading to the stiff stance on his license renewal.
Authorities are concerned there could be more victims and have urged anyone with similar experiences involving Arianoutsos to contact the Naperville Police Investigations Division. The reminder rings clear: charges are but accusations and Arianoutsos remains presumed innocent unless guilt is established under the law.
