A family from North Texas is desperately appealing to the public to help find their white Boxer dog named Vanilli, who went missing in Spring Branch on March 2. The three-year-old canine, easily recognizable by a distinctive black mark on her back leg and black "freckles" beneath her white coat, vanished near The Branch Restaurant on Highway 46 at about 5 p.m. last Saturday.
The search has become increasingly urgent due to Vanilli's medical needs; she suffers from epilepsy and requires medication. Amid their concern, the owners, Victor and Lara Favella, are offering a reward for the safe return of their pet. No matter how insignificant it may seem, they are urging anyone with information to quickly come forward, as they reported to KENS 5.
Vanilli is distinctive not just in looks but lacks the standard identification measure; she does not have a microchip. The Favellas have stated that their primary concern is Vanilli's well-being and health, emphasizing that there will be no prosecution if someone has taken her in, mistaking her for a stray.
If anyone has seen or has information on Vanilli's whereabouts, they are encouraged to reach out directly to the Favellas at (571) 420-9471 or (469) 655-9561. Tips can also be anonymously reported to the Bulverde Area Humane Society at (830) 980-2247. The couple is willing to remain in Spring Branch indefinitely to tirelessly continue to search for Vanilli.
