The City of Palmdale is opening its doors for a discussion on organics recycling on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., offering residents a primer on Senate Bill 1383, which aims to curb greenhouse gas emissions by managing organic waste. Mayor Austin Bishop emphasized the event's value in a statement, stating, "By doing so, we’re not only following the law but also creating a cleaner environment and more sustainable future for Palmdale."
Attend the workshop to get up to speed on SB 1383, acquire tips for efficient organics recycling, and converse with city staff on waste-related concerns. As an added incentive, an exclusive sweepstake awaits workshop participants, with DryTown All-Access Season Passes valued at $340 up for grabs.
