A Minnesota man was injured in a motorcycle crash when his ride took a sudden, unfortunate detour into a ditch last Saturday. The Morrison County Sheriff's Office reported that 56-year-old Jeremy Girtz of Pierz was traveling southbound on Jewel Road when he lost control of his motorcycle near 253rd Street, roughly seven miles north of Little Fall, according to the Morrison County.
The accident occurred at approximately 1:21 pm. Witnesses said that Girtz's motorcycle veered unexpectedly off the road.
The rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. He was swiftly transported to St. Cloud Hospital by Life Link III, though details about his injuries remain undisclosed.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office indicated that multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the MN State Patrol, Pierz Fire Department, Pierz First Response Team, Life Link III, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance, as reported by the Morrison County Sheriff's Office.
