The spirit of competition has found its way to the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office, but this time it's not about who can apprehend the most suspects or solve a case the fastest. Instead, the office’s K9 team and field services unit are going head-to-head in a different kind of challenge – amassing the largest donation for a local food drive.

Following their impressive start to the March Mania Food Drive with South Shore Community Action Council, the K9 unit boasted about their collection prowess. In a playful instance of inter-department rivalry, they have thrown down the gauntlet to the field services unit for week 2 of the campaign. "The K-9 unit has challenged FIELD SERVICES to outperform them in WEEK 2," according to the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department.

Accepting the challenge, FIELD SERVICES is now poised to show their colleagues and the community their charitable spirit. The Sheriff's Office is rallying support, urging the community to get involved. Donations can be given at multiple drop-off points: the guard shack, the lobby of the admin building, or the employee entrance at PCCF.

"We need everyone's help to win," the post continued, emphasizing the collective effort required to triumph in this philanthropic endeavor, as per the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department.
