The doughnut landscape in Phoenix is about to get a lot sweeter. Iconic California-based Randy's Donuts has announced the grand opening date for its first Arizona location, set to serve up circular delights starting Tuesday, April 23. Slated to be located at 5709 North 7th Street, the Phoenix shop will feature the brand's eye-catching gigantic doughnut sculpture and its signature 'Randy's Outlaw Orange' color scheme, according to ABC 15.

According to a rendering released by the company and as confirmed by Arizona franchise developer Brian Padilla in a statement obtained by ABC15, the shop will not only be unmistakable thanks to the colossal doughnut replica but will also be adorned with mural drawings by a local company. "You won't miss the building, obviously, because of the doughnut but also, we have what's called Randy's Outlaw Orange [it’s] our primary color outside," said Padilla.

Those looking to grab a bite can expect the Randy's Donuts experience to commence at the crack of dawn, with operating hours beginning at 5 a.m. An official closing time is yet to be locked down according to the franchise, ensuring Phoenix's night owls and early birds alike can indulge in the fluffy, larger-than-life pastries that Randy's is known for. With both drive-thru and limited in-house seating options, customers have the choice of enjoying their treats on the go or hanging back in, as reported by ABC15.

But the doughnut juggernaut isn’t stopping there. More Randy's locations could be entering the Arizona scene in the not-too-distant future. "Yeah, for sure…. we'll see how the first location is going. I think it's going to be great. I'm working on a couple of other opportunities right now to expand the brand," Padilla said, hinting at a sweet expansion during an interview with ABC15. The opening of the Phoenix store appears to be just the beginning doughnut aficionados in Arizona have to."
