The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) along with Crime Stoppers has renewed its call for public assistance, emphasizing the gravity of a case gone cold but not forgotten. Amid reflecting on the harrowing incident, Chief William McManus deemed the shooting a "targeted incident." All occupants within the ill-fated vehicle sustained injuries, but it was Ramos and Esquivel who succumbed to theirs.
