A routine evening commute nearly turned violent when a road rage incident unfolded between an MBTA bus driver and a motor vehicle operator on the streets of Boston. The MBTA Transit Police reported the event on X account, stating that around 5:30 PM on March 1, at the intersection of Morton and Theodore, a 31-year-old male, seemingly enraged for reasons yet undisclosed, delivered a formidable punch to the driver's side window of an MBTA bus.

Despite the force of the impact, the window withstood the attack, and thankfully, no injuries were reported during this burst of vehicular fury. The assailant, who was behind the wheel of his moving vehicle at the time of the incident, is now facing consequences for his actions. According to the MBTA Transit Police, the MV driver will be summonsed into court to answer for Malicious Damage to property.

The MBTA Transit Police have not released further details about what may have led to the assault or the identity of the motor vehicle operator at the time of reporting.
