San Antonio police are on the hunt for a duo involved in a robbery at Macy's department store at South Park Mall, according to officials. The robbery took place at around 5 p.m. on the evening of February 5 at the shopping center located on SW Military Drive, as reported by Fox San Antonio. A man and a woman are said to have fled the store with a stash of stolen goods before being confronted by a security guard outside.
As the security personnel approached the suspects' vehicle, the male robber issued a dire threat. "The male suspect threatened to shoot him if he didn't get away," KSAT reports. The security guard backed off, and the pair sped away with the stolen merchandise, initiating the police search that is still ongoing more than a month after the incident.
Information about the matter is in high demand, and Crime Stoppers is offering substantial cash for tips that lead to arrests. Up to $5,000 could be rewarded to those who come forward with actionable intelligence.
