San Antonio law enforcement is urgently requesting public assistance to locate Ju Von Williams Philips, 20, in relation to the ruthless murder of Cesar Estevan Garcia, 27, during what appears to have been a disastrous robbery attempt. Philips is facing charges of capital murder for the incident that took place on the Northeast Side, as reported by FOX San Antonio.

The slaying occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 29, outside a warehouse located off Northeast Loop 410 East near Wehman Drive. In a grisly scene, Garcia was found by police, fallen at the threshold of his workplace surrounded by a spate of shell casings and what were identified as Glock “switches”. Security footage captured the stark moment where Garcia was coercively held at gunpoint before his life was claimed by a gunshot to the back from two assailants.

Kiavon Dotson, 21, has already been apprehended on March 2 in connection with the same slaying and now faces capital murder charges. Detectives were able to piece together a part of the narrative after accessing Garcia's phone, which revealed social media exchanges with Dotson. According to the evidence, Garcia had challenged Dotson to "pull up", providing the location of the impending deadly rendezvous.

In an admission to the authorities, Dotson is alleged to have attempted to rob the victim of the firearm components but claimed that things turned fatally sour when Garcia resisted. This claim, as stated by Dotson, appears to have drastically backfired, leading to a violent confrontation and the consequent murder of Garcia.

With Dotson now behind bars, the manhunt for Philips intensifies as he remains at large along with one other unidentified accomplice involved in the harrowing killing. Police are calling on anyone with information about Philips' whereabouts to come forward to aid in the pursuit of justice for Cesar Estevan Garcia.
