
The hunt is on for a hit-and-run driver who left a man seriously injured on the South Side. Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance after a 49-year-old pedestrian, Ramon Montemayor-Guerrero, was struck by a gold-colored SUV while crossing Pleasanton Road, as reported by FOX San Antonio. The accident occurred near West Harding Boulevard around 9 a.m. on Feb. 26.
Montemayor-Guerrero was immediately taken to the hospital in a serious condition following the incident. The SUV involved did not stop to render aid and the driver is still at large, according to details released by the San Antonio Police Department. The scene unfolded in the 3200 block of Pleasanton Road, close to Commercial Avenue, and Southwest Military Drive.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for tips leading to a felony arrest, this incentive aims to urge witnesses or anyone with knowledge to come forward, as highlighted by KSAT. The driver, once located, will be facing charges for failing to stop and render aid.
