San Antonio law enforcement is on the hunt for a suspect in a cold-blooded murder that claimed the life of a 24-year-old woman last month. The shooting unfolded in the early morning hours of February 18, when police were called to the 4300 block of Roland Road shortly after 5 a.m. There, the officers discovered the young woman, fatally wounded by gunfire while inside a vehicle, according to KSAT.
Details emerging from the investigation suggest the victims, who had spent the evening at The Spot nightclub on Rigsby Avenue, believed they were being followed. It seems the perpetrator, driving a dark-colored sedan, may have tracked them from the club before carrying out the deadly attack. After firing the shots, the suspect is believed to have quickly driven away, heading north on WW White Road.
With the shooter still at large, San Antonio police are making a public plea for anyone with relevant information to come forward. Authorities ensure that tipsters can remain anonymous. Additionally, those whose tips lead to an arrest and conviction may see themselves rewarded—up to $5,000 is on offer, police underscored.
San Antonio's Crime Stoppers are waiting to receive any details the public can provide at 210-224-7867.
