The San Diego County Sheriff's Department is seeking public assistance to identify and reunite an elderly Asian man with his family. The man, who is in his 60s, was found disoriented near unincorporated Escondido, the department said in an X post.
He is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 145 pounds, and was wearing the clothes seen in provided photographs. Officials reported that the man cannot recall his name or where he resides. They turned to social media in hopes that someone might recognize him and provide information leading to his relatives. "If you have any information about this man, please call 911. Thank you for your help," the post concluded.
Authorities have not disclosed any further details regarding the circumstances under which the elderly male was discovered. Despite numerous efforts, the man remains unidentified, and the San Marcos Station continues its plea for anyone who may know the man to come forward with information.
The call for assistance was made through the San Marcos Station's official X account @SDSOSanMarcos, emphasizing the need to connect this individual with his family. As of yet, there have not been any updates on the case, and authorities are relying on the goodwill and the community's diligence to solve this matter.
